What is
SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPY?
Pediatric speech and language therapy provides the child with the tools necessary for effective communication. Effective communication is essential in a child's ability to develop friendships, solve problems, seek information, and express their feelings, wants, and needs. The use of competent speech and language skills influence a child's success in academics as well as interpersonal relationships.

Expressive & Receptive Language
Expressive and receptive language skills involve a child’s ability to understand what is said and to communicate their own thoughts using words, gestures, or other forms of expression.

Articulation
Articulation refers to the production of speech sounds and the child’s ability to be understood.

Fluency (Stuttering)
